Someone compared my writing to Tao Lin, I bought some of his books, looked him up online, tumbled down the rabbit hole from there.
How did you end up here?

There's this Russian absurdist writer, Daniil Kharms, whose work I got really into.
One day I Googled "like Danill Kharms."
Found a blog post by some author who wrote that Sam Pink is "like Daniil Kharms."
I think Amazon told me to buy stuff by Noah Cicero after I bought Sam Pink's "Person."
I got really excited about this stuff. It reminded me of the writing style I use to write emails for my day job being used to write fiction. It had been like seven years since I gave up writing fiction. Now I'm halfway through the 2nd draft of a novel.
The only thing I've read by Tao Lin is Eeeee Eee Eeee. It was ok.
Pretty sure now Crispin Best's stuff is more like Daniil Kharms than Sam Pink's stuff.

i think my dad was the first to check eee eeeeeeee e e e ee out from the library. maybe not, it could have been my sister. surprisingly the library owned this book...but has purchased none of lin's other books. (pretty nonsensical if you ask me) some how the 'alt novel' ended up in the house and well, the rest was DESTINY!!!!!!
